How do you know if you\u2019re a woman who needs to spring clean her closet?<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll answer that by asking you this: have you ever stood in front of your closet full of clothes and thought, \u201cI have nothing to wear!\u201d <\/p>\n

Your husband has no idea how you could feel this way because, in his eyes, you have more than enough clothes!<\/p>\n

The problem is not the quantity\u2014the problem is that you have too many clothes that don\u2019t make you look good or, more importantly, feel good!<\/p>\n

Why does this happen? It\u2019s because too many times you have listened to others while making purchases, or you have used the \u201cIt fits and it\u2019s on sale!\u201d line as your only standard of determining what to buy.<\/p>\n

Have you ever asked yourself, \u201cIs this really best for me? And do I love it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Many women do not.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s use this time of year to give your closet a much-needed spring cleaning.<\/p>\n

Not sure how to spring clean your closet? Here are 5 questions to ask as you begin:<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n

  1. \u201cDo I love my shoes?\u201d<\/strong> Let\u2019s start with shoes. They\u2019re practical, sure, but they can also be fun! Do you have some stylish shoes you love? If not, it\u2019s time to get yourself a pair. A new pair of shoes can be a great accessory to your style.<\/li>\n
  2. \u201cDo I love wearing every piece of jewelry I own?\u201d<\/strong> If not, get yourself some new jewelry<\/a> that adds another level of beauty to your outfits. Not having great jewelry is like being served a birthday cake with no frosting… boring!\n<\/li>\n
  3. \u201cHow old is my purse?\u201d<\/strong> Some purses stand the test of time! But if yours looks dingy or has any tears or fraying edges, it\u2019s time to get a new one. (Not sure what purse would be best for you? Watch these videos<\/a> for extra tips!)<\/li>\n
  4. \u201cDo I love it?\u201d<\/strong> Now let\u2019s move to your clothes. Take every piece of clothing you have and ask yourself that question. If you do love it, put it in the \u201cKeep\u201d pile. If you honestly do not, put it in a pile to donate. (If needed, you can have a \u201cmaybe\u201d pile that you go through with more thought.)\n<\/li>\n
  5. \u201cDo I have mostly black clothes?\u201d<\/strong> After you\u2019ve trimmed down your clothes to only the ones you love, look at the color. Many women pick black clothes because they\u2019ve been told it works for everyone<\/a>. Be careful though\u2014that\u2019s a fashion myth! Even if you are the Type of woman who can wear black, commit to not buying any more black clothes until you have at least two-thirds of your closet in color.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
