{"id":54722,"date":"2016-01-25T15:07:28","date_gmt":"2016-01-25T22:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my.liveyourtruth.com\/dyt\/?p=54722"},"modified":"2018-08-20T14:49:23","modified_gmt":"2018-08-20T20:49:23","slug":"3-things-not-to-say-to-your-body","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/my.liveyourtruth.com\/dyt\/3-things-not-to-say-to-your-body\/","title":{"rendered":"3 Steps to Loving and Appreciating Your Body"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>I&#8217;d like to issue a cease and desist to all the women of the world.<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s time to stop the daily practice of negative body-talk!<\/p>\n<p>We women are wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, working women &#8212; we\u00a0all have a lot in common!<\/p>\n<p>Since learning about Energy Profiling, you&#8217;ve found that you have a lot in\u00a0common with the\u00a0women who share your Energy Type too.<\/p>\n<p>And one thing we all definitely have in common,\u00a0unfortunately, is\u00a0our practice of thinking and talking negatively about our bodies.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe you&#8217;ve made good progress changing this habit, but as you know, old generational patterns can be persistent and don&#8217;t change instantly.<\/p>\n<p>Keep at it!<\/p>\n<h3>Here are 3 steps to positive talk and appreciation for your body:<\/h3>\n<h4>1. Stop speaking negatively about your body.<\/h4>\n<p>It takes longer to change your thought patterns, but you can change your speech tendencies immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Every time\u00a0you&#8217;re tempted to say\u00a0something negative about your body, think of your body as a small child.\u00a0Would you say that to a child?<\/p>\n<p>Your body hears what you&#8217;re saying and takes on the energy of shame in response. Give your body a fair chance to wake up to it&#8217;s truth of health and beauty by ceasing and desisting all negative speech.<\/p>\n<h4>2.\u00a0Notice your negative thoughts.<\/h4>\n<p>Be an observer of your thoughts, and in that place of observation notice that your thoughts are just that &#8212; thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>Your thoughts create your reality. Are your\u00a0thoughts about your body helping you create a healthy and beautiful body? Or are your thoughts creating shame and disease?<\/p>\n<h4>3. Change your negative thoughts.<\/h4>\n<p>Now that you&#8217;re noticing them, you can change them!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some common negative thoughts women have about their bodies, and what you can choose to think instead:<\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;m too fat &#8212; I am the way I am. I love myself now and I create healthy choices.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My thighs are too big &#8212; Thank you legs for carrying me each day.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I look old &#8212; I look perfect the way I am, because that is the way I am!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I hate my body &#8212; Thank you body for taking on so much for me.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My skin is saggy &#8212; Thank you skin for expressing my full life.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I am too tall\/short &#8212; According to whom?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My hips are too wide &#8212; Thank you hips for allowing me to bear my beautiful children.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My stomach is too big from having kids &#8212; Thank you for making that sacrifice stomach, I love you for that!<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Love is the most powerful energy in the Universe.<\/h4>\n<p>Choose loving thoughts and they will turn into loving speech and actions.<\/p>\n<p>As you love your body with positive thoughts and language, you instill into womankind a shift of energy that moves all women toward more self-acceptance and truth about who they are.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for helping me with my mission to help more women by first helping yourself.<\/p>\n<p>God Bless You,<\/p>\n<div class=\"dt-gap\" style=\"height:15px\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><a class=\"dt-single-image\" href=\"https:\/\/my.liveyourtruth.com\/dyt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/signature-11.png\" data-dt-img-description=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-38138\" src=\"https:\/\/my.liveyourtruth.com\/dyt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/signature-11.png\" alt=\"signature-1\" width=\"200\" height=\"58\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;d like to issue a cease and desist to all the women of the world.
