Have you ever wondered what Dressing Your Truth looks like in my everyday life? I kept track of all my outfits for a week to make an OOTD Journal (Outfit of The Day). Take a look at my week!

Monday:

Today I was at the office filming 8 Cozy and Elegant Type 2 Outfits for Fall. I chose an outfit that I would feel comfortable in during a long day at work but that also looked more polished and stylish. I love this top! It’s so soft and elegant. Perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans.

Tuesday:

Today I was home with my 2 kids, did some work during their naps, and ran a few errands in the afternoon. I love the easiness of this outfit. The top offers a little more than a basic tee with the two-tone colors. I pulled my hair up in a low bun so I didn’t have to mess with it all day. When I went to a neighborhood get-together in the evening, I didn’t even have to change. Taking some extra time to get ready in the morning supports me in feeling and looking great all day long.

Wednesday:

Today I worked from home (on the couch). I could have stayed in my pajamas, because I didn’t have anywhere to go, but taking the time to get ready always helps me feel refreshed and more present for the day’s activities. These pants are perfection! So fluid and soft, yet stylish with the added pockets and seam. I saw some friends, and they commented on how comfortable my pants look and how I always look so pulled together. Hooray for DYT! Had some fun with 4th day hair and used this tutorial to help me style it.

Thursday:

Truth be told, I didn’t get ready until 3PM today. I was home with the kids, no working, no errands—just playing with the kiddos. I love these days, but sometimes they lack structure, hence not getting ready until 3PM. But hey, that’s part of the mom-life. When I did get showered, I dressed up a bit (mostly because I wanted to wear my new sweater and shoes!) and I was going into the office for a Facebook Live with my mom. I was excited to find a new way to wear this top.

Friday:

Another #LiveMakeover today! What a fun day! It’s always wonderful to be with our community in person and online. I’ve been really excited to wear this top, and I love how the pants, and shoes really pulled it all together. After work, Tanner and I went on a date and I wore the same outfit. I felt beautiful all day. This look really represents my personal style well.

Saturday:

Saturdays in the fall are game days around these parts. (Go Cougars!) Luckily, the team’s color is navy—which is easy to find in Type 2 colors. It’s still warm around here so I was able to wear shorts. True to my Type 2 nature, I love adding the extra details seen here in earrings and a necklace with the team’s logo. Jaleah is also a big sports fan so we all go to the games together. It’s a fun connection time for me and my family.

Sunday:

Today I went to church and spent time with family. It was a relaxing day, so I wanted my outfit to match how I felt! I was excited to dress up an old favorite skirt in a new way. I really love my new gray wedge heels too. I felt elegant and graceful.
